Victoria De Souza

My name is Victoria de Souza and I'm a first-generation immigrant from Brazil. Currently, I'm a senior majoring in Biology and I'm very passionate about medicine and giving back to the community. After graduation, I plan on becoming a Physician Assistant and provide healthcare access to underprivileged, uninsured communities, especially Hispanic/Latinx immigrants who often don't seek health care provides due to their status.

 

The reason I decided to be part of LUPE is because I believe our pillars (Unidad, Nuestro Futuro, La Salud, Conocimiento de la Cultura, and Nuestra Comunidad) are very important topics to discuss in our current environment and I identify with them on a personal level. Also, I believe LUPE is a great platform to empower Latinas, as well as providing a safe environment to share our backgrounds, our passions, and learn from each other's experiences.
